Painting
I am captivated by light. My paintings are multi-layered explorations of light and colour. I often begin with an under-painting in acrylic or watercolour to identify basic tonal values, then build upon this with layers of pastel, or watercolour pencils.
Whether my subject matter is the human form, animals, or still life, I endeavour to add potency to each image with a fluency of light and shade, colour and form.
